On Tuesday, August 6, Professor Asif Nazrul of the Department of Law at Dhaka University and Professor Tanjimuddin of the Department of International Relations at Dhaka University went to Bangabhavan to discuss the framework of the interim government and the current situation. After the meeting with the President, the chiefs of the three armed forces, and the coordinators, Professor Asif Nazrul spoke with the media around 12:30 AM.He stated, "We are about to form a government in an extraordinary situation. There are constitutional rules for legitimizing the formation of such a government, and we must follow those rules.

He mentioned that the tenure of the government has not yet been determined, but the President has agreed to appoint Dr. Yunus to the interim government based on the proposal from the student community.Praising the coordinators involved in the discussions at Bangabhavan, Asif Nazrul said, "The skills with which they handled the discussions impressed me. They managed everything so well with maturity, which is commendable. We might have found not just leaders for the uprising, but also leaders for state-building."He also praised the Bangladesh Army, Navy, and Air Force, stating that the chiefs of the three armed forces were very sincere during the discussions. They appreciated the student community’s traffic management and the enhancement of security measures at the temples.
